I loved our dog trainer Ray. He answered my call and set up our first meeting right away. Was able to come to our house to meet our puppy and created a training program for us. He also recommended a great harness, dog treat products, dog food, and even great dog treats. After our first 5 sessions we saw great behavioral improvements in our puppy and our relationship with him. Ray offers a holistic approach to dog training which begins with training of the humans. 😀

Alpha Dog Academy offered no cost training for the dogs in our rescue. I loved that each dog’s individual traits were identified first and then the group was taught to work together as team. It is so much fun to get training and socialization all in one. The dogs have a great time and their minds get quite the work out. To describe the trainer Rayfield in one word – PATIENT. Wow, I wish I had even half of his patience. Professional and fun!

I was at a loss with my cockapoo Carly. After 3 sessions with Rayland, she is now a well behaved dog, gets along with other dogs in a social setting, she can now be groomed, goes to day care. It’s night and day. Thank you Rayland. She is doing GREAT!

I recommend Alpha Dog Academy almost daily to people who need assistance with their pets. Rayfield is a life saver … literally! When the public comes to me, they’re often at their wits end and ready to relinquish their dog to a shelter. After I calm them down and tell them that Rayfield is on his way, the real magic happens. He’s been able to put peace back into homes and keep families together. That is critical in our line of work. Rayfield jumps at the chance to help any animal, even if he’s not going to be compensated. He’s constantly helping animals in need. You can call him day or night and he’s there to help! His primary concern is to have a happy pet in a happy home. I’m thrilled Rayfield is out there in the trenches helping animals in our community and beyond. We (and they) need him!

Rayfield trained two of my dogs during the past decade; Oreo and Roxie. I’ve owned dogs all of my life and have worked with many trainers. Rayfield tops the list hands-down. His technique of working with the dogs’ behavior and making them understand new commands is outstanding. Once the dogs learn the commands, then he trains the owner and the owners’ behavior and attitude. Astonishing results on all counts. Aside from being a sensational dog trainer, Rayfield is a person whom I admire, trust and respect. He’s been an asset to my dogs as well as an asset to me.

Very happy with the progress I’m seeing in all three of our dogs. Learning so much more about their individual personalities than I had seen before. Rayfield is worth his weight in gold. Not only does he respond immediately to any plea for help, but he will also travel long-distances to do in-home visits to work with the dogs that are perilously close to losing their homes usually due to human error.Sitting in on a recent three hour session with him in Tampa made me a firm believer that he knows what he is doing and, most importantly, the dogs respond to and respect him.
