Rayfield Baisley is a knowledgeable and caring dog behavior consultant. He generously volunteered his time and talents to help establish Canine Assisted Therapy, and is the content creator of the B.A.R.K. program we utilize today within our pack readers program. It was with his insightful evaluations of many of our therapy dog programs that we were always able to help ensure we had teams serving in a facility that is befitting of the dogs temperament and personality. He coached our therapy dog handlers on reading canine body language and ways to ensure the therapy experiences were always beneficial for the patients they are visiting, and for the dogs and handlers as well. I recommend Alpha Dog Academy almost daily to people who need assistance with their pets. Rayfield is a life saver … literally! When the public comes to me, they’re often at their wits end and ready to relinquish their dog to a shelter. After I calm them down and tell them that Rayfield is on his way, the real magic happens. He’s been able to put peace back into homes and keep families together. That is critical in our line of work. We rescued 2 puppies from an abusive situation. The male was aggressive and lunged and the female barked constantly at anyone outside our family. After being turned down by other trainers due to their aggressiveness and failing an interview at the boarding facility we use for our senior black lab, they recommended Ray at Align K9. In only 5 sessions, these pups are walking properly on leashes, calmly sitting when Ray visits, eating out of his hand, hopping in and out of the car on command, and walking confidently around our pool. These pups were terrified of these things before training. We are amazed that we can confidently walk them by joggers and kids playing and they sit by our sides! There is still more work to be done, but we’re beyond pleased with their progress! Everyone told us we should consider giving them up. Ray gave us hope.

Everything! Rayfield is truly a Dog Whisperer. I needed some help with my new puppy who was out of control. He needed a lot of work. I was worried that no one would be able to correct his bad behavior. As soon as I met Rayfield I knew he was going to be able to help me. He is extremely smart and knowledgeable. Not only did turn my puppy into an Angel he also taught me a lot of things. I was responsible for a lot of the bad behavior my puppy was doing. He has a saying that I love and say all the time. “Train Them, Don’t Blame Them” I highly recommend him.

Rayfield’s positive techniques and advice have been sanity saving for our family. Most importantly, they work. He has trained us as much as the dog. After being kicked out of puppy class, I didn’t have much hope for our rescue dog Jackson. Rayfield was recommended to us and in one lesson had him walking with another dog. When our family situation changed and the dog was not adjusting well, he came right over to help us. He is very accessible via phone, text, etc and answers any questions you have. His positive attitude and interactions with dogs has made working with him a wonderful experience.

Ray is the best dog trainer I’ve ever met and I’ve met a few being that I always had lots of dogs. His of handling the dogs and the owners is very professional and shows his long term experience even with very difficult cases. He educates you and won’t create a dependency relationship which I have seen with other trainers. He’s your best bet in swfl… hands down!
